How would you describe your sexuality?
I am a 38-year-old mother of four, in a loving relationship with my partner, who is also my master. I am his slave and we are very much into the BDSM lifestyle, living it 24/7. My children are unaffected by our relationship, but what they do see is me being respectful and obedient to my partner. Asking permission by eye contact alone is enough to carry on our Master/slave relationship, whilst still maintaining a healthy family atmosphere.
What role has "violent pornography" played in your life?
My partner and I are normal human beings. Just because we view images and get pleasure from them, it doesn't mean we're going to go out and perform the acts on people, consensually or otherwise. However, I do enjoy having such things done to me, and enjoy seeing the evidence afterwards – does that make my partner and myself criminals? I suppose that, if the government has their way, then yes. It's ludicrous to think Britain has come to this.
What do you think of the UK government's proposal to ban "violent pornography"?
When I first heard about this bill coming to parliament I thought it would never get heard, but the more I've looked into it, the more it worries me that both of us could be held accountable for images that we both enjoy together. We could have a criminal record, which in turn would mean we would be unemployable and reliant on the state to feed, clothe and house us - and what about my children? A prosecution under this bill wouldn't just affect the person held accountable. It would have monumental consequences.
I agree with some comments that have been made about the legislation driving people to suicide. In recent years society has become more accepting of different lifestyles, but this law will undo all the hard work of people who have been striving to increase tolerance towards BDSM. What does this mean for the clubs we attend, will they come to an end too? More than likely.
People work hard to provide for themselves and their families, and when they're not working some like to play hard too. So what if they don't confirm? Because that's what this is all about – conforming to the government's idea of "perfection" or "normality". And there is no such thing
There are real criminals out there, who deserve to be put away, but the law fails to do so, so the government has hit on the idea of jailing law-abiding people for liking "violent porn" instead. It is George Orwell's Big Brother coming to fruition.
I think I'll move abroad to a more tolerant society, where the government aren't emotionally affected by one person's ordeal and decide to punish society as a whole, because that is what I feel they are doing.

The government doesn't want you to view certain images. And will send you to prison if you possess them. Even in the privacy of your own home.
