Spread the word

There are a number of ways you can help to spread the word:

  1. by writing emails to your friends and organisations that you think might also be opposed to the new law.

  2. by posting links to the backlash site on forums and in chatrooms: You could mention us in politics groups, music groups, film groups, goth groups. gaming groups, anywhere where you regaularly chat to like-minded people.

  3. If you have a newsletter, a blog or a website you could add one of the banners or this animated poster to your site.

  4. if there are sites that you regularaly visit or shops that send you newsletters, email them and ask them to post links and write about the campaign.

  5. if you are attending an event and want to take flyers, write to backlash at: Unit 4, 92-98 Vauxhall Walk, London, SE11. You could also distribute the newsletter (427k pdf).

  6. If you are on broadband you can download one of these posters and distribute them at events.

  7. and don't forget to write to your local newspaper, the national media and your MP telling them why you don't want 2007 to be Tony Blair's 1984.

.... there are areas in which the State, or the community, no longer has a role or, if it does have one, it is a role that is completely different. It is not for the State to tell people that they cannot choose a different lifestyle, for example in issues to do with sexuality.
